An Energy Efficient Professional-Quality Series of Microscopes

The Optika B-352A microscope offers the energy efficient, ultra bright LED illumination which provides the same intensity of a comparable Halogen light source. This microscope is a professional-quality system and allows users the option to run on battery power.

Designed for use in advanced teaching situations and laboratories, the B-352A’s unique LED illumination system is vastly superior to any other microscope in its price range - halogen or LED. Because Optika’s patented Super-Bright, 5-volt LED lasts five times longer - a full 50,000 hours - and provides up to 35% higher efficiency than other manufacturers’ 3-volt LED’s. Users are able to enjoy a spectacular viewing experience even at the highest magnifications.

The B-352A’s light output is equivalent to a 35-watt halogen bulb. This is possible because of the Super-Bright 5v LED and Optika’s special condensing lens, precision-crafted in Europe and designed specifically for LEDs.

Best of all, the cordless option makes it the most sophisticated microscope on the market to offer this level of transportability with the ability to be run entirely off-the-grid. Using the cordless option requires 4AA Alkaline or 2300-2600 mAh rechargeable batteries (recommended). External charger NOT included. The microscope will operate from two to six hours per charge, depending on use of illuminator and has an easy-to-use switch to change from 110/230vac power to the battery option.

This model has the option to add a Phase Contrast kit, which can be a huge time-saver for users whose needs require both Brightfield and Phase Contrast capabilities. Optika also offers Binocular (B-352PH) and Trinocular (B-353PH) models that come with Phase Contrast standard. Plan models (B-352PL and B-353PL), and Plan Infinity models (B-352PLi and B-353PLi), as well as Metallurgical and Epi-Fluorescent models are also available making the B-350 series incredibly versatile. The B-352A is supplied with WF10x/20mm eyepieces which accept 22mm O.D. eyepiece reticles. We offer hundreds of other reticles that are available separately. Click here to see our huge selection. (Note: Only 10x/20mm eyepiece accepts reticles.) You will also need a 22mm eyepiece reticle retainer which can be found here. All of these additional options make this system extraordinarily flexible.
