I just wanted to say thank you for the microscope which arrived today. The help you gave during the ordering and the prompt delivery was fantastic. When I was looking for a microscope for my daughter (6th grade) I was very fussy as I took cell biology and histology at University myself. I intended to get a big name brand to make sure of good optics. To be honest when I decided on this microscope, (Model O Student Compound & Mech. Stage, Fluorescent lamp) I crossed my fingers. I thought there had to be a drawback at this price. Well, was I pleasantly surprised when I unpacked it and tried it out. In a word, phenomenal. At the 40x magnification it is easy to see the nuclei in white blood cells even without staining. When I looked at live yeast, the cytoplasm could be seen separating to each end of the cell just prior to division. The microscope is solid, the design functional. The focus, fine focus and mechanical stage adjustments are exceptionally smooth and everything about the microscope feels solid and says very well made. Thanks again.
